At Luxury Flooring Manchester, we believe your staircase should be a statement piece—a seamless blend of natural beauty and architectural craftsmanship that elevates your entire home. That’s why we are passionate about installing real wood flooring on stairs.

It is the perfect way to add timeless elegance, natural warmth, and lasting structural value to your property. As Greater Manchester and Cheshire’s leading engineered wood and oak staircase specialists, we guide you through every single step—from selecting the perfect timber at our Wythenshawe showroom to flawless, precision installation.

🛠️ The Premium Process: Engineered Oak Stair Cladding & Preparation

Installing solid or engineered wood flooring on stairs requires elite carpentry and meticulous preparation. Standard floor layers simply cannot achieve the bespoke, architectural finish required. Here is how our expert team guarantees a stunning, safe, and long-lasting result:

Free Home Survey & Assessment: We visit your home to accurately measure your staircase, assess the structural integrity of the existing steps, and discuss the best wood flooring options, installation methods, and custom nosing profiles for your needs.

Showroom Design Consultation: Visit our family-friendly showroom in Wythenshawe to explore our extensive range of solid and engineered wood. Compare different species, finishes, and plank widths to find the perfect match for your home’s character.

Meticulous Plywood Cladding: Acting as the ultimate professional for floor preparation, we completely overhaul your existing staircase. We expertly clad the stairs and landings with premium high-quality plywood, creating a perfectly smooth, level, and structurally sound foundation for the heavy timber.

Precision Cutting & Fitting: Our master hardwood artisans—working alongside our dedicated bespoke finishers for any mixed-material landing designs—expertly cut and fit each piece of hardwood to your exact stair dimensions, ensuring seamless treads and risers.

Bespoke Wooden Stair Nosings: We craft and install high-quality wooden stair nosings and bullnose oak steps, providing a polished, seamlessly integrated, and highly durable edge that perfectly complements your chosen wood.
