PROJECT OVERVIEW Our valued client, Ms. Connaway contacted Luxury Flooring Manchester to help her find the perfect floor for her on her narrowboat in Castlefield. She wanted something hardwearing, waterproof and that looked really nice
The narrowboat was moored at Castlefield in Manchester City Centre. It recently had a leak in the hull and had substantial water damage to the subfloor and existing floor covering.
Helping to choose a floor for this project was nice and easy as we had a budget to work to plus a brief including the preferred colour. We knew Polyflor’s Vintage Timber would be perfect. We included inset strips to create a ship deck style finish and the customer just loved it!
FLOOR PREPARATION AND FITTING We installed an 18mm Marine Ply which was finished with fibre-reinforced smoothing compound. The flooring was installed in a ship-deck effect, created using 5mm grout strips, by our Advanced Polyflor Fitters
