PROJECT OVERVIEW: Dr Din recently purchased a new home and wanted stone effect tiles installing in the conservatory. After researching options she contacted us after a friend recommended us for fitting Polyflor Luxury Vinyl Flooring Cheadle.
The customer wanted a large format tile in concrete grey. Working to a budget we specified a looked at a number of stunning options from Polyflor’s Expona range.
FLOOR PREPARATION & FITTING
The existing floor tiles were found to be structurally sound, stable and in great condition, therefore, the surveyor determined that the tiles could be left in situ. The floor was thoroughly cleaned, degreased then primed using Tilemaster’s Grip & Prime – this offers fantastic adhesion for when applying latex levelling compounds over non-porous surfaces. We then levelled the floor with 2 part latex screed before installing the wide format tiles. The tiles were then installed by our Polyflor fitters
