PROJECT OVERVIEW Our client, Ms. Marie contacted Luxury Flooring Manchester for exper advice install parquet in the lounge of her residential property in Urmston had already seen the floor she wanted – the stunning and brand new Karndean Art Select Prairie Oak – and wanted it installed in her lounge.

SPECIFICATION: Karndean Prairie Oak SM-RL20 inspired by wood sourced from European Forests, Prairie Oak presents a beautiful array of pale earthy browns. The lighter shades offer a stylish modern alternative to traditional oak flooring without losing the detail in the grain. A hand-scraped emboss highlights the texture further, creating a realistic oak plank replication.

PREPARATION: The preparation for this Karndean parquet flooring project required our floor preparation team to overlay the original floorboards with 9m flooring grade plywood which was finished with a 5mm top coat of latex smoothing compound, to ensure a flawless finish that meets the highest industry standards.

INSTALLATION: Our team of skilled Karndean fitters worked their magic by installing this breathtaking parquet flooring in the hallway, lounge, kitchen, and diner. The result? A modern, borderless finish that created a subtle and seamless flow throughout the entire space. Impressively, this project spanned a generous 56 square meters and was flawlessly completed in just five days.
