Actually, it creates an optical illusion of space! The “V” shape draws the eye outwards. For smaller rooms (like hallways), we recommend standard blocks. For huge open-plan kitchens, go for “Oversized” planks to match the scale of the room.

Generally, yes. The material cost of LVT is usually lower than engineered oak. However, the fitting cost is similar for both, because the skill required to lay the pattern is the same. LVT is often the smarter choice for cost-effective durability.

Yes! A border (often with a “tramline” strip) frames the room like a picture. It looks stunning in larger rooms but isn’t always necessary in small hallways. We can demonstrate this on our design tables in the showroom.
