Do I need to screed my floor for LVT? Yes. LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) is flexible. If your subfloor has bumps or dips, the LVT will mould to them over time. We apply a minimum 3mm smoothing compound to ensure a mirror finish.
We strictly use Myers commercial-grade ply, Hanson SP101 or FG1 flooring-grade plywood. We never use standard builders’ ply, which can delaminate or rot, ruining your expensive floor.
