Following an extensive property remodel, Mrs. Wilson contacted Luxury Flooring Manchester to supply and install a premium flooring solution that would effortlessly connect her hallway, kitchen, and dining area.

She selected the stunning Polyflor Westchester Oak Large Parquet (LPQ2253). Measuring 76.2mm x 457.2mm, this large-format parquet showcases a pristine, cool-toned beauty. The versatile white wood features subtle grey hues and an elegant grain pattern. Enhanced with a brushed effect for natural texture and finished with a contemporary matte lacquer, it perfectly complemented the modern aesthetic of her newly renovated Urmston home.

Technical Floor Preparation: Underfloor Heating

Installing luxury vinyl parquet over an active underfloor heating system requires meticulous technical groundwork to ensure long-term stability and a flawless finish.

Our skilled floor preparation team worked diligently to prepare the subfloor. We applied a top coat of premium latex self-levelling smoothing compound directly over the underfloor heating system. This crucial step guaranteed a perfectly flat, stable base that aligns with the highest industry standards.

Expert Borderless Parquet Installation

With the subfloor flawlessly prepped, our master parquet fitters went above and beyond during the installation phase.

To create a modern, expansive feel, they expertly executed a continuous, borderless design that flows seamlessly from the hallway straight through to the open-plan kitchen and diner. The craftsmanship was truly remarkable, covering a total area of 41m² in just 3 days.
