Installation of Karndean Flooring, Sale Town Centre, M33

PROJECT: Our client Mr & Mrs Taleb contacted Luxury Flooring Manchester to supply and install Karndean Lime Washed Oak throughout the hallway,  lounge, open plan kitchen, and dining space to their residential property in Sale, Cheshire.

SPECIFICATION: Karndean Knight Tile SM-KP99. This choice perfectly complemented the client’s vision with its weathered, sun-bleached driftwood appearance, Lime Washed Oak planks closely mimic the look of well-aged, sun-bleached driftwood. Each plank exhibits a captivating range of color tones, creating a dynamic and visually intriguing floor. When installed, this flooring provides a slightly rugged and choppy appearance, making it the perfect choice for those aiming to achieve a contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic. The result is a floor that exudes timeless charm and sophistication.

PREPARATION: Before diving into the installation of this Karndean flooring project, our floor preparation team conducted a thorough subfloor evaluation, leaving no stone unturned to meticulously prepare the floor which had a wet underfloor heating system. To do so we we applied 12mm of a latex smoothing compound that was UFH compatible.

INSTALLATION: Our skilled Karndean Karndean fitters were the driving force behind bringing our client’s vision to life. They were tasked with creating a chic and contemporary borderless herringbone installation, which was the client’s top choice. The process kicked off with a herringbone layout in the hallway, ensuring the graceful herringbone design effortlessly extended from the hallway through the lounge and into the kitchen. With a remarkable 53 square meters to cover, this project truly showcased our unwavering commitment and expertise. The end result was a breathtaking transformation achieved in just five days.
