PROJECT: Mrs. Clough reached out to Luxury Flooring Manchester for the supply and installation of luxury vinyl herringbone flooring, Irlam Salford, M44. This project encompassed her kitchen, dining area, and gym within her exquisite residential property. The extensive remodeling of her home had been skillfully executed by AG Construction.

PREPARATION: For this project, floor preparation tackled a kitchen with a brand-new extension. The challenge here was leveling the floor and providing a fast-track solution for floor preparation, mainly because of elevated moisture levels in the recently installed concrete slab. To combat this, we applied Adrex MVS 95 vapor suppressant before adding a 5mm coat of Ardex NA smoothing compound. This ensured a flawlessly flat and level subfloor, ideal for both the kitchen and gym space.

INSTALLATION: Our client had a clear vision for their interior design, and it revolved around stunning smokey grey herringbone flooring installed throughout the kitchen and gym. To elevate the design, they requested a charming charcoal inlay strip to be installed around the perimeter, the island, and the kitchen units, adding a touch of moody elegance and drama to their kitchen space. Our parquet flooring fitters successfully brought this vision to life, covering an area of 53m2 in just four days.
