PROJECT: Our valued client, Mr Greewod reached out to Luxury Flooring Manchester with a vision. They entrusted us with the task of finding, supplying, and installing a herringbone flooring for this new residential property in Heaton Norris, Stockport encompassing the spacious kitchen, inviting dining room, and hallway.

SPECIFICATION: Karndean Savannah Oak SM-RL23  is inspired by wood sourced from European forests. An attractive wood in its natural state, it works well in both traditional and contemporary interiors. Pale with subtle golden hues, the delicate sandy shade running through the grain forms an intricate, attractive pattern

PREPARATION: Our team of skilled floor preparation team began this project by uplifting and removing the existing laminate flooring, addressing a number of damaged floorboards. They then meticulously prepared the subfloor with a blend of top-grade plywood and fiber-reinforced smoothing compound. 

INSTALLATION: Our talented Karndean fitters played a key role in making our client’s vision a reality. Their task? Installing a stunning herringbone floor with a double plank perimeter border. The journey began with a herringbone layout in the hallway, seamlessly connecting this elegant design from the hallway to the lounge and kitchen. With a substantial 60 square meters to cover, this project truly showcased our dedication and skill. The result? A breathtaking transformation was completed in just five days.
