Our client had a special request for beautiful oak-coloured herringbone flooring to grace the hallway, open-plan kitchen diner, and WC in their Monton residence.

FLOOR SPECIFICATION: For this project, we meticulously selected the finest materials to achieve the desired result choosing Karndean Blonde Oak Parquet AP01 for its warmth, texture and practicality of pale blond oak.

PREPARATION WORK: To ensure a flawless foundation, our floor preparation process involved the installation of 9mm flooring grade ply board over the existing floorboards. We then completed the preparation with Arditex NA, a fiber-reinforced screed.

FLOOR INSTALLATION: The installation was a work of art, featuring a stunning herringbone flooring pattern with a single plank border. The total area covered by this project was 65m2.

The outcome? A mesmerising transformation of the ground floor, allows the abundant natural light from the south-facing garden to bounce through the entire property.
