Luxury Flooring Manchester was thrilled to be part of the lounge remodel in this Didsbury residential property. Our client had a bold vision—to make a statement with a stunning parquet-style floor. FLOOR SPECIFICATION: Karndean Art Select Auburn Oak AP02 is the most traditional parquet colour. An exquisite choice offering the warmth of golden tones, intricate graining, and the gentle textures of the Oak Premier collection.
PREPARATION WORK: To create the ideal foundation for the parquet flooring, we began with the installation of 9mm flooring-grade plywood over the existing floorboards. To ensure a flawlessly smooth and even surface, we concluded the floor preparation with the application of Arditex NA, a top-quality, flexible smoothing compound.
FLOOR INSTALLATION: Craftsmanship took center stage in this project—a mesmerizing work of art emerged. The installation showcased a striking borderless herringbone pattern, covering an impressive total area of 22m2.
