PROJECT OVERVIEW: Having purchased a new home Mr Powell fully renovated the property and extended the rear of the property so to create a large kitchen and dining area. Once the extension was near completion he began searching for a local flooring company that specialises in Parquet Flooring in Altrincham.

He was referred to  Luxury Flooring Manchester by a friend and so requested a home consultation with one of our trusted advisors to help her get an understanding of the various brands, options, styles, colours required floor preparation work and costs involved.

Once we had an idea of the look he wanted, grey with high colour variation,  we began looking at various options from Karndean, Amtico, Polyflor, Project Floors and he fell in love with Green-Flor’s Oak-Tundra Beige‘.

FLOOR PREPARATION WORK: The subfloor in the property was made up o a combination of floorboards and concrete of various levels. Our first objective was to build up the various levels to form one continuous level. We achieved this with a mixture of plywood and levelling compound. Once we established one continuous and flat area we then levelled the area with Ardex NA levelling compound.

INSTALLATION: The floor was installed throughout the ground floors including Lounge, Hallway, WC, Kitchen & Dining area in herringbone pattern by our specialist Parquet flooring fitters.
